The literary incarnation, Srila Vyasa Dev even after compiling many scriptural texts as the voluminous Mahabharatha and the many Puranas with so much effort was not able to maintain his peaceful composure. His guru then was able to relieve him out of that dilemma by his nectarine instructions. Srila Vyasa then engaged in rigid devotional service  and in that state of total concentration or samadhi was able to perceive the vision of the Supreme Lord together with His internal energy. He was able to note the non differential marginal energy as the living entity and also the material energy which was situated at the back of the Lord. The living entity by essence is a transcendental spark of  the Supreme consciousness and in reality above the  three modes of nature .Nevertheless ,The living entity by misusing his independence and attempting to exploit the material energy by his warped intelligence   becomes bewildered by becoming attached and bonded by material nature and contaminated by the same. In this way he is defined as a conditioned soul.. However, there is another living entity who by using his freewill in the right manner has become established in his original constitutional position being very blissful in the service of the Supreme Lord Krishna. They come under the class of liberated souls. From the beginning of time ,ignorant living entities averse to the Lord  thus becomes bewildered by the powerful illusory energy .Hence he embarks on material advancement and knowledge being deluded by his false ego and  with his spiritual identity becomes covered. He undergoes great misery by his identification with matter due to whips of  the threefold material suffering caused by the material energy. These people attached to their mind and body can be classified as either   Karmi,  Smarta or simply materialistic people. They have forgotten their original spiritual identity ,the form of Krishna and the nature of devotion. However ,the most compassionate Lord has not forgotten them. His servant ,the formidable goddess of this material prison punishes the disobedient living entity by immersing them in the sufferings of the material world for their ultimate purification. .After undergoing much suffering ,the tearful living entities turns to the lotus feet of the Supreme Lord in supplication so that they can be released from their material pangs. The fortune of the living entity takes a turn as he takes to  pure devotional service .It is by great fortune that he comes to the shelter of a great devotee and by the association of such great devotees becomes qualified to perform pure devotional service. At this juncture it is pertinent to say that a conditioned living entity by his impure mind and intelligence can never understand the spiritual stature of the guru, Vaishnavas and the Supreme Lord for they are all above the purview of the material senses. The attempt by such impure individuals to ascend the spiritual path is termed as aroha. Factually is is only by surrender in an unalloyed manner  that the Supreme Lord can be revealed. The compassionate Lord  descends into the material realm to deliver the conditioned souls to the plane of eternal bliss. He comes or take partial incarnations or otherwise sends his beloved servants to the material realm to perform the work of guru. His utmost compassion is when His holy name appears being non different from Him to deliver the conditioned souls. The fortunate ,sincere, chanter is able now to relish the form ,qualities and pastimes of the Lord. The living entity by surrender to the spiritual master and with his mercy is able to cross the material ocean of suffering and enter into the original transcendental abode. Rain water though very pure in essence but by falling to he earth and mixing with other substances becomes unfit to be drunk as it may be the cause of disease. But if the same water is chemically treated it can again revert to its original purity. In this way the great souls by giving transcendental knowledge to the conditioned souls and by removing their bond of sinful reactions  that same aspirant again attains to his original pure identity and qualifies to serve the Supreme Lord. On the other hand those who do not endeavor in the propre way but instead tries to ascend to their higher realm by feeble use of their intelligence and limited knowledge will again be thrust into the material flux either in the hellish planets or the heavenly spheres as in the the endless  ocean of repeated births and deaths.
